UPCOMING PROGRAMS: DUE TO THE COVID-19 TOPSHAM LIBRARY CLOSING, THE JUNE 15 PROGRAM WILL BE VIA ZOOM ONLY. MEETINGS WILL NOT BE HELD IN JULY AND IN AUGUST. HOPEFULLY, REGULAR PROGRAMING WILL RESUME ON SEPTEMBER 8 AT THE TOPSHAM LIBRARY.
The purposes of the Topsham Historical Society shall be to collect, to preserve and to educate the public about the history of the town of Topsham, Maine. This will be achieved, in part, by working with each other nonprofit and governmental organizations with similar interests and objectives.
To achieve these purposes, the Society shall:
- Seek to preserve for future generations Topsham’s history through research and collection of information and artifacts;
- Seek to organize volunteer efforts and interest in its purposes;
- Seek to promote Topsham’s history through education discussions, presentations, writings, and digital media.
